It is culinarily appreciated, but if consumed raw or undercooked, it causes intense "Lilliputian hallucinations," a clinical syndrome that causes consistent visions of miniature people ("dwarfs"). The active metabolite is currently a scientific mystery; it does not contain psilocybin or ibotenic acid.
